Jim Bisha is the Principal Packaging Development Lead at the National Motor Freight Traffic Association, Inc.® (NMFTA)®.
In his role, he specializes in the technical intersection of packaging engineering and less-than-truckload (LTL) shipping. With a Ph.D. in Packaging Science and previous experience working for a carrier and as a packaging consultant, Jim focuses on bridging the gap between technical theory and operational reality, balancing innovative “blue sky” brainstorming with a grounded approach to practical application and rollout.
Based in Boulder, Colorado, Jim balances his professional focus with an active role in his community. When he isn’t troubleshooting technical documentation or distribution systems, he enjoys coaching youth soccer, all things mountains, and tackling mechanical repair projects. He remains a hands-on problem solver committed to driving excellence in the packaging and logistics industry.
