Alexandria, VA, April 14, 2026 – The National Motor Freight Traffic Association, Inc.® (NMFTA)® today announced the recent launch of its newly redesigned website, delivering an enhanced, user-focused experience that improves accessibility, navigation, and performance for members and industry stakeholders.
The updated website reflects NMFTA’s ongoing commitment to supporting the evolving needs of the transportation and logistics industry, with enhancements designed to improve how users find information and access tools. New functionality allows visitors to easily access the information they need by connecting related content across three core pillars: cybersecurity, classification, and digitalization. In addition, NMFTA members can directly log in to myNMFTA, NMFTA’s online membership portal, for a tailored experience.
The site also introduces faster, more intuitive access to key product offerings—including Standard Carrier Alpha Code® (SCAC)®, ClassIT+™, interpretations, and Standard Point Location Code® (SPLC)®—helping users quickly find what they need and keep freight moving.
“It is incredibly rewarding to see the website in production as the design makes it easier to find and engage with critical information and resources,” said Debbie Sparks, executive director for NMFTA.
The website redesign was guided in part by NMFTA’s Website Advisory Group, which brought together diverse industry perspectives to ensure the platform meets both strategic and operational needs.
“From a usability standpoint, what stood out to me was how intentionally the site was structured around real workflows—not assumptions,” shared Spencer Ernest, weight and research manager at SAIA.
Mark Davis, retired vice president of pricing and traffic for Averitt and former NMFTA chairman, agrees. “Coming from an operational background, I tend to look at things through a very practical lens—does it make the job easier? The new website does. It’s more intuitive, more direct, and eliminates a lot of the friction users typically run into.”
The launch of the new website supports NMFTA’s broader strategic initiatives, including the rollout of SCAC Verified™ and the Freight Fraud Prevention Hub.
