Since 1956, the National Motor Freight Traffic Association, Inc. (NMFTA)™ has served as the voice of the less-than-truckload (LTL) motor carrier industry, representing both for-hire interstate and intrastate carriers.

Full members receive all Participant benefits plus the ability
to serve on the NMFTA Classification Resource Committee (CRC).

About Participation
Participation in the NMFC allows carriers and other transportation companies to use or reference the copyrighted NMFC in their tariffs, rate schedules, or contracts with their customers.
Carriers and transportation companies whose rates, charges, or terms of transportation (including packaging and bills of lading), are based on or reference the NMFC or any of its provisions must participate in the NMFC.
