Standards for Cybersecurity In Transportation (SCIT)
NMFTA works to educate the transportation industry on potential cyber threats to connected vehicle fleets. Each year, we host numerous workshops and an in-person conference that explore cybersecurity issues such as incident response, risk mitigation, data anomaly detection, and many others.
Individuals whose organization are not either Members or Associate Members of the NMFTA may participate in the Standards for Cybersecurity In Transportation (SCIT) Council as a Professional Society participant. Annual dues are $299.00 per individual, which allows the individual to attend meetings at the member rate.
Digital Standards Development Council (DSDC)
The Digital Standards Development Council® (DSDC)™ is an industry-led initiative dedicated to fostering collaboration among less-than-truckload (LTL) and full truckload (FTL) stakeholders, including carriers, shippers, 3PLs, and tech vendors. The DSDC is comprised of the Digital LTL Council and the Digital FTL Council.
Powered by the NMFTA, the Council’s goal is to create, implement, and maintain digital standards that address critical challenges in freight transportation, from quote to cash. Individuals whose organization are not either Members or Associate Members of the NMFTA may participate in the DSDC as a Professional Society participant.
