Attendees encouraged to register for NMFTA 2026 Cybersecurity Conference set for September 29-October 2, 2026

For the first time, the National Motor Freight Traffic Association, Inc.® (NMFTA) has opened registration earlier than usual for its Cybersecurity Conference, the must-attend annual event for professionals in trucking, transportation, and the broader supply chain.

Now in its fourth year, the NMFTA Cybersecurity Conference is engineered to equip fleet executives, IT and cybersecurity leaders, researchers, and technology partners with practical takeaways and strategies to protect today’s transportation operations against evolving cyber threats.

The 2026 program will feature keynotes, workshops, fireside chats, hands-on tabletop exercises, and technical sessions that pair strategic insight with real-world application. Past speakers have included senior cybersecurity and technology leaders from across the trucking industry—including professionals from Averitt Express, Bellavance Trucking, Estes Express Lines, Kenan Advantage Group, Nussbaum Transportation, Saia, Ward Transport & Logistics, and Werner Enterprises to name a few—sharing their best practices on threat mitigation, resilience, and operational security.

“What made last year’s conference so powerful was the level of collaboration,” said Joe Ohr, chief operating officer for NMFTA. “The conversations were electric—leaders, technologists, and practitioners all leaning in, sharing real challenges and solutions. Cyber risk affects everyone in transportation, and having the right voices at the table is more important than ever.”

A major highlight of the 2026 conference will be NMFTA’s 2026 Transportation Industry Cybersecurity Trends Report, which breaks down how cyber threats are changing—and why they matter operationally. From AI-powered social engineering to supply chain attacks, the report shows how cybersecurity has become a frontline business risk for transportation companies.

Attendees will gain first-hand insights directly from NMFTA’s research team and subject matter experts on how these trends translate into practical defensive postures across motor carriers of all sizes, shippers, third-party logistics providers (3PLs), brokers, tech partners, and logistics service providers.

To coincide with the early registration window, NMFTA is offering early bird pricing through May 3, 2026, with registration available at $299 for NMFTA members, $349 for non-members.

Additional conference details, including the full schedule and speaker lineup, will be released in the coming months. To reserve your spot early, visit www.nmftacyber.com.
