Why Join?

NMFTA supports its membership through:

  • Developing and maintaining less-than-truckload (LTL) freight classification standards;
  • Assigning industry-wide identification codes;

Membership Types

NMFTA has two types of organizational membership; LTL Carrier (intrastate and interstate) and Associate Member. Associate Members include brokers/3PLs/4PLs, freight forwarders, government traffic, private fleet, shippers, tank truck carriers, truckload carriers, and water carriers.

Organizational Membership

NMFTA membership supports the operational, regulatory, and technology needs of organizations across the freight transportation industry.
