Kris McLennan is a seasoned less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation leader with decades of hands-on industry experience. She currently serves as Vice President of Yield Management at A. Duie Pyle, where she brings a deep operational understanding and a forward-looking perspective to pricing, strategy, and performance.
McLennan’s career began at the ground level in freight billing and progressed through dispatch, pricing, and operational roles—an experience that shaped her belief that the strongest careers in LTL are built by learning the fundamentals from the bottom up. At a time when formal logistics education programs were scarce, she developed her expertise through on-the-job learning, mentorship, and a willingness to ask questions and take initiative.
Throughout her career, McLennan has witnessed—and helped navigate—the industry’s transformation through technology. While she is a strong advocate for digital tools, automation, and the growing role of AI in the supply chain, she also emphasizes the importance of preserving human connection, mentorship, and relationship-building in an increasingly digital workplace.
A passionate advocate for professional development, McLennan encourages emerging leaders to seek mentorship, step outside their comfort zones, and engage across departments to fully understand the LTL ecosystem. Her leadership philosophy centers on humility, continuous learning, and aligning personal values with organizational culture.
