LTL Carrier Membership
LTL Carrier Membership is available to all LTL carriers. LTL Carrier Membership in NMFTA is practical for Standard Carrier Alpha Code® (SCAC)® and National Motor Freight Classification® (NMFC)® use, as well as strategic for digital modernization, security, and industry influence.
Membership supports the daily operational, regulatory, and technological needs of LTL carriers across North America. LTL Carrier Council Members can also opt into the Digital Standards Development Council® (DSDC)™ and Cybersecurity Council at no additional cost.
Associate Membership
Associate Members are companies or organizations that support the main group’s mission but aren’t LTL carriers. Associate members include truckload carriers, tank truck carriers, water carriers, third-party logistics providers (3PLs), 4PLs, freight brokers, freight forwarders, shippers, technology providers, TMS providers, OEMs, dimensioner companies, intermodal, private fleet, industry suppliers, and government traffic.
Associate Members can also opt into the DSDC and Cybersecurity Council at no additional cost.
