(NMFTA)™\, Freight Classification Development Council (FCDC)\, Classification Resource Committee (CRC)\, the NMFC\, and the development of classification.What will you gain? An understanding of the LTL motor carrier classification system\, where it comes from\, and how the NMFC provisions are developed.  \n\n\n\nModule 2: Packaging Specifications & Rules\, Bills of Lading and Classification Rules\n\n\n\nCourse Outline: Packaging Rules & Specifications\, Bills of Lading\, and Classification Rules.What will you gain? Building upon the material covered in Module 1\, you will achieve an understanding of the major packaging rules and specifications\, the bill of lading and its requirements\, and general classification rules and conditions. \n\n\n\nModule 3: Introduction to Interpretations\n\n\n\nCourse Outline: Principles of NMFC Interpretations with Instructional Examples.What will you gain? Attendees will participate in hands-on interpretation exercises using the fundamental interpretations process\, which will demonstrate the application of the NMFC provisions. ClassIT+ will be employed to show item descriptions and classification provisions. \n\n\n\nModule 4: Advanced Interpretations and Recap\n\n\n\nCourse Outline: Advanced instruction on NMFC Interpretations building off the interpretations process learned in Module 3 and applying rules discussed in earlier modules\, as well as other classification rules. The National Motor Carrier W&R  Council was founded by a group of 25 LTL carrier representatives in February of 1969. The council has historically met twice a year\, in the Spring and the Fall\, to discuss a variety of topics relating to weighing and research.
