The National Motor Freight Traffic Association (NMFTA) is excited to announce its new, complimentary webinar series. The third cybersecurity webinar in the series is entitled Trends and Threats Exposed – Protect Against Cyber Actors and will be held from 1:00-2:00 pm ET on Thursday, July 13, 2023. The webinar is offered at no charge for all audiences.
Description
Are you concerned about cyberattacks? Do you know the latest tactics threat actors are using to target organizations? Join NMFTA’s Director of Enterprise Security, Antwan Banks, as he moderates the Trends and Threats Exposed – Protect Against Cyber Actors webinar. TAM-C Solutions’ Eitan Richman will present.
The introduction of virtual infrastructure into mechanical equipment increases the risk for corporations. Political and ideological motives create a new landscape for wars with low-risk, high-result potential. The impact is not limited to governments and militaries; organizations are also at risk.
Throughout Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022, cyber threat actors significantly impacted the physical war and the global supply chain. Examples include Anonymous’s attacks targeting Western corporations providing services in Russia, and attacks associated with the Belarusian Cyber Partisans, which targeted critical infrastructure used by the Russian military.
This presentation will cover the following:
- The risks, threats, and trends introduced by the increased use of cyberwarfare;
- Financially motivated threat actors and their proven and recurring impact on the cyber landscape; and more.
