The National Motor Freight Traffic Association, Inc. (NMFTA)™ is thrilled to announce that Lily Eghtessad, program & events coordinator, has been nominated as a Rising Star by the Potomac Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (MPI).

Since joining NMFTA, Eghtessad has demonstrated unparalleled aptitude for planning and organizing impactful events. She is a critical asset to the success of NMFTA’s six in-person events each year. Her attention to detail and overall ownership of her responsibilities have helped increase attendee satisfaction.

The “Rising Star” designation recognizes individuals who demonstrate exceptional potential, early career achievements, or noteworthy contributions to their field or organization. A leading association in the meetings and events industry, MPI is known for identifying and nurturing talent that advances the profession.

Nominees will be celebrated on December 5 at the MPI Potomac Evening of the Stars Annual Meeting and Awards Reception in Washington, DC.
